SPATIAL VR WITH 6° DOF

In a world where we are learning to accept diversity, the Green Fairy story is a modern day fairy tale that uses Virtual Reality to embrace the things that make us different.

The Green Fairy project started in 2016 as virtual reality shortfilm prototype, which premiered at Westfield Malls around New Zealand. After receiving validation with its target audience, the project received investment from the New Zealand Film Commission.

A NEW ZEALAND PRODUCTION

At its current state it stands as a story-driven 10 minute long VR film. The Green Fairy uses the magical fairy ring as a storytelling arena to take you to different locations in her storyworld.

We have a companion book in Augmented Reality available in all New Zealand bookstores, as well as a series of Vlogs made in Unreal Engine with funding from Epic Games.

Thus far, the project was originally released in New Zealand with the support of the NZ Film Commission, TVNZ, NZ On Air and Westfield Malls.

CONCAL released the project on international Fairy Day. This  included the Unreal episodes, the VR Experience and the AR Book.

WINNERS OF THE PRESTIGIOUS
AWARD FROM EPIC GAMES

To realise the potential of the Green Fairy it is essential to form partnerships that will help scale the property to take it from a successful ‘Kiwi’ idea to an ‘International’ brand. To this end there is a careful plan to test and assess the international market for Green Fairy.
