SPARK AR APP
Commissioned by Colenso, our team was tasked to develop two Augmented Reality applications for Spark NZ for their premium store in Commercial Bay. Both apps have been in display for over six months.
The Gaming Experience involved augmenting a sci-fi spaceship over a custom made tabletop. The experience used heavily demanding 3D assets, textures and particle effects that were optimised to run smoothly on Oppo phones.
COMVITA
Our most recent and ground-breaking work was produced for Comvita during the America’s cup earlier this year (2021). Commissioned by Blur the Lines, our team created an immersive experience where we transformed the new Comvita Wellness Lab into a beehive forest using Augmented Reality and the latest iPad Pro.
ESCAPE QUEST
Queenstown Escape Quest commissioned us to create an outdoor escape room. Using AR technologies we created a game where players have to navigate the streets of Queenstown, discover its gold rush history and complete their mission triumphant!
MINISTRY OF EDUCATION
We brought Kali and Arahi to life through animation as a tool to communicate to the younger generation in New Zealand about wellbeing at school and how the Ministry of Education can help faciliate that to make schools a great place for students to learn.

TO ‘LIVE’ THE STORY
Create a fun Virtual Reality game for your brand activation. VR plays with your senses to make you believe that the virtual is real. Applied for storytelling, risk-free simulations and immersive marketing experiences.
We partnered with NZ’s leading VR arcade to produce a series of tutorials in Virtual Reality and 3D animated videos for its visitors to learn the health and safety guidelines to play games in VR.
VR GAMES
The player navigates through the Pacific Islands, accompanied by three playful coconut characters into an adventure at the University of Auckland’s Fale Pasifika.
AUT 360° is an immersive video experience currently being toured internationally at various school fairs, bringing an interactive approach into exploring the university campus.
After the disastrous fire at Notre Dame, we partnered with the Alliance Française to empower people to design their own new spire in Virtual Reality at the NZ French Festival.
Noel Leeming took on virtual reality for their staff training programs. The interactive learning simulation was introduced internally and used nationwide. It provided a fun learning experience that re-imagined eLearning practices.

Augmented Reality is common in social media and gaming, and it has evolved rapidly to become useful in industrial manufacturing and enhancing the customer experience.
Our work with AR face filters for Facebook and Instagram using Spark AR has become wildly popular with NZ Blood’s campaign.
AR COLORING
We developed an Augmented Reality app for the world-famous Big Hoot event, where kids coloured in their own owls in AR.
A digital taonga for Aotearoa, revitalizing cultural practices and the philosophy of Heru with AR Storytelling.
We collaborated with Energi (Specialist Shopper Marketing Agency), to produce an augmented reality magazine cover for New Zealand’s largest FMCG audience.
An image-led story packaged as an augmented reality book. It explores how AR technologies be employed to extend the richness of a narrative for adult readers.

In collaboration with ARA Journeys, we have produced Journeys of Manu – an educational app that teaches Māori cultural stories using geospatial augmented reality.
OKE is an educational app for schools that helps kiwi kids look after their gardens. Harvest your own veggies with a digital companion both in the real world and inside the app.
An Augmented Reality prototype developed for WorkBright, to explore the potential of using virtual assistants to help kids with learning as a virtual teacher aide.
